Continuing Education Workshops for Teachers Strengthen México’s Educational Transformation: SEP / @Letamaya @SEP_mx >>>

#SEP.- The Secretary of Public Education, Leticia Ramírez Amaya, affirmed that the Intensive Workshops for Continuous Teacher Training on the Curricula for preschool, primary and secondary education, strengthen the educational transformation because they allow an open dialogue between educational authorities and teachers.

At the head of the informative meeting on the workshops, which were held from January 2 to 6, Ramírez Amaya informed that more than 1,100,000 teachers participated in the workshops, which shows the interest of the teaching staff in taking ownership of the Basic Education Study Plan and Programs.

He explained that the workshop was useful for teachers to work on the co-design process based on the synthetic programs and their knowledge and teaching practices, through problematization, reflection and dialogue about the central components of the Study Plan.

The teachers who attended the workshop participated in the collective construction of an outline of the Analytical Program by grade, for which their experience was taken into account.
